A Vincent man was arrested last Thursday on rape charges.

Shelby County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Deward &uot;Jake&uot; Van Orden, 42, on charges of first-degree rape, first-degree sexual abuse, and first-degree sodomy.

Capt. Chris Corbell said Van Orden’s victim was a juvenile. Van Orden posted $45,000 bond and was released from the Shelby County Jail while he awaits trial.
