Can’t beat free training

When it comes to business, training is key.

But that training can sometimes be costly, draining valuable resources such as time and money.

Thanks to the Greater Shelby County Chamber of Commerce, John Moser & Associates and the Shelby County Reporter, Dale Carnegie business classes are coming free of charge to Shelby County.

Once a quarter, Dale Carnegie business-skills training sessions will be held at the North Shelby Library.

The Dale Carnegie course is regarded by many as the best in business-skills training.

And now that training will be available to our community free of charge.

Chamber president Karen Ream says that one of the most common requests she receives from chamber members is for more training opportunities.

She and the chamber have tried to create those opportunities in a variety of formats.

But the amount of requests, she says, far outnumber the takers.

The Dale Carnegie classes are another great opportunity to meet the needs of our local business community – all it has to do is take advantage.

After all, free is tough to beat
