Supreme court decision is wrong

Keeping up with international trends is poor consolation for families whose loved ones have been brutally murdered.

The U.S. Supreme Court’s decision last week was extremely troubling.

The generality that all who commit capital crimes as juveniles should not be eligible for the death penalty is ridiculous. As it has been for years, these cases should be taken one by one and the decisions made based on the merits in each case.

Take the Mark Anthony Duke case, for instance. Duke brutally murdered his father, his father’s fiancee and her two daughters, one 7 and one 6.

He knew his actions were wrong and he should be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law
