Bryce Noel and Johnny Markey each scored second half goals to lead Oak Mountain to a 2-1 win against Bob Jones in the second round of the AHSAA soccer playoffs.

The No. 1 ranked Eagles (24-0-2) will face Grissom Friday at 8:15 p.m. in the semifinals at the Huntsville Soccer Complex.

Brantley Visser had a hat-trick for Briarwood Christian School as the Lions downed Eufaula, 7-1.

The defending 5A state champs will face Homewood Friday at 3:45 p.m.

Indian Springs will take on Holy Spirit at 11:15 a.m. Springs defeated Trinity, 1-0, in second-round play.

In girls play, Briarwood defeated St. Paul’s, 2-1, to earn a final-four berth against Benjamin Russell at 1:30 p.m. Friday.

Indian Springs defeated Bayside Academy, 4-2, to set up Friday’s meeting with Montgomery Academy at 9 a.m
