It’s time for residents in Alabaster, Montevallo and Calera to join with those who live in unincorporated Shelby County to put a stop to the rape of Shelby County’s land.

This is our opportunity. We must come together to fight the quarry that has been proposed near Meadow View Elementary School.

Most of our local officials are with us and will be with us as we fight this battle to protect our homes and drinking water.

One however, has made a disappointing change on the issue.
