Marywill Snow Knight

Marywill Snow Knight, 94, of Jemison died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center. She was born July 29, 1911, in Jefferson County to the late William I. Snow and Ada Wear Snow.

She was a member of Center Hill Baptist Church in Jemison. She was a loving wife and mother and was always devoted to her family and friends. She became a resident of Hatley Healthcare in Clanton where she was honored as Mrs. March 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Earl C. Knight, and her daughter-in-law, Hilda Jones Knight.

She is survived by one son, Donald E. Knight Sr. of Jemison; three grandchildren, Sandy Knight of Birmingham, Sherri Knight Pruett of Birmingham and Donald E. (Andrea) Knight Jr. of Nashville, Tenn.; four great-grandchildren, Nick Hays, Cris Rooks, Chloe Pruett and Spenser Knight; one brother, the Rev. Gene Snow of Alexander City; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Service was Oct. 11 at 1 p.m. at the chapel in Martin’s Funeral Home in Clanton, the Revs. Ed Snow and Roger Snow presiding. Burial followed at Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera, Martin’s Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Nick Hays, Cris Rooks, Billy Snow, Paul Snow, George Earl Snow and Larson Snow
