Gregg H. Smith, age 48, of Minneapolis, Minn., and formerly of Columbiana, died Oct. 10, 2005. He was born Oct. 28, 1956, in Darmstadt, Germany. He served in the Air Force and was a member of First Baptist Church in Columbiana.

He is survived by his parents, Nick and Annette Smith; sisters, Susie Humphries, Jan Falkner; niece, Kristen Leonard; nephews, Peter Falkner, Grant Falkner; aunt, Charlotte Herston; and uncles, Ed Thompson, Basil Smith and Bill Smith.

Service was at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 14 at Bolton-Letlow Chapel. The family requests memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Columbiana Building Fund, 208 North Main Street, Columbiana, AL 35051
