John Henry Higgins, 74, of Columbiana died Oct. 12, 2005. He was born on Sept. 17, 1931 in Shelby. He was retired from ABC Rail/Abex with more than 45 years of service. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Higgins; children, Doris Horton, Henry Higgins, JoAnn Bailey, Andy Higgins; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother, Onnie L. Higgins; sisters, Lola Mae Smith, Betty Reinhardt, Sarah Howard, Louise Hasting, Brenda Horton and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Service was 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 14, 2005 at Bolton-Letlow Chapel. Burial followed in Pinelawn Gardens, Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home directing
