Tommy Lee Runyan, 62, of Birmingham died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Runyan; his daughter, Mary Runyan; his sister, Helen R. Cole of Rockmart, Ga.; his brother, Arnold (Phyllis) Runyan of Shelby; his brother-in-law, Cliff Scruggs of Birmingham; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Service was Dec. 23 at 1 p.m. at Ridout&8217;s Elmwood Chapel with burial following in Elmwood Cemetery, Ridout&8217;s Elmwood Chapel directing
