Oneda Herron, 85, of Westover died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, at home. She was born Feb. 9, 1920, in Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Garrison; her mother, Ola Kizzer; and two sons, Morgan and Milton.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Herron; her sons, Alvin (Ann) Herron of Dora, Edwin (Dorothy) Herron of Mobile and Jerome (Sandi) Herron of Chelsea; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Service was Feb. 7 at 11 a.m. at Sterrett Church of God of Prophecy with burial following at West Jefferson Freewill Cemetery, Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home directing
