Violet L. Hathcock, 70, of Columbiana died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006, at a local hospital.

She was born March 16, 1935, in Jefferson County.

She is survived by her daughter, Eunita Robertson; her son, David Ward; her granddaughter, Mystie Hawthorne; her grandson, Dusty Leggett; and her great-grandchildren, Alexis Hawthorne and Jayden Fischer.

Service was Feb. 10 at 11 a.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel with burial following in Wilsonville City Cemetery, Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home directing
