Douglas F. Cochran, 78, of Montevallo died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

He is survived by his wife, Vivian Cochran of Montevallo; his daughters, Nancy Devetak of Hammond, Ind., and Wanda Wojciechowski of Highland, Ind.; his sons, Michael Cochran of Hammond, Ind., and Randale Cochran of Lewisville, Tenn.; his sisters, Gail Coston of Montevallo and Jean Snow of Boyton, Fla.; his brother, James Cochran of Cathamet, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Service was Feb. 27 at 11 a.m. at Rockco&8217;s Funeral Home Chapel, Brother David Reed presiding. Burial followed in Ryans Cemetery, Rockco&8217;s directing
