James Howard White, 76, of Shelby, passed away on Feb. 21, 2006.

Funeral Services were held at Bay Springs Baptist Church on Thursday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Johnny Horton officiating. Visitation was held on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m.

Survivors include his wife, Sue; daughter, Joan White (Eddie) of Shelby County; step-daughters, Jennifer Thomas (Ronald) of Tuscaloosa, Susan Gable (Gene) of Columbiana; and Peggy Massey (LeRoy) of Shelby; sons, Steven James White (Lori) of Shelby; and Michael White (Wendy) of Tennessee; step-sons, Jeffrey Taylor of Huntsville and Faron Taylor (Tina) of Columbiana; sisters, Laura Curtis, Willie Mae Davis and Clemlee Davis; brothers, Marion, Reed, Frank and Joesph white ; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
