The Hobby race had fans on their feet with Gary Ingram (No. 8), Robert Lucas (No. 44) and Sandy Dawson (No. 88) putting up a strong fight for the top spot.

But after a few close calls, near spin-outs and hard racing, Ingram took the win. Lucas was a close second and Dawson took home the third spot. Other finishers were Mike Smith (No. 8), J.R. Brown (No. 46), James Kendrick (No. 50) and Clint Stone (No. 22).

The Ponies put on a great show this weekend with few incidents. Terry Reach (No. 5) took the checkers after a hard fight with Jerry Lopez (No. 6), who left the track with mechanical problems. Steven Foster (No. 12) made his season debut, taking home the second spot. Bill Butler (No. 70) finished strong in third.

The Pure Stock Class saw Wayne Spradlin (No. 11) take the win and Neal Mapes (No. 14) take second.

The Hogg Class was dominated yet again by David Davis (No. 00). Frank Johnson finished second, driving Bobby Butler&8217;s No. 33 car. The third spot was secured by Rex Rhoades (No. 33b) and Sammy Thrash (No. 72) finished fourth.

The Thunder Cars took the track by storm this weekend with a huge wreck in turn one. Pole sitter Sandy Dawson (No. 88) had to leave the track with a flat tire but fought his way back to second. Josh Ingram (No. 16) who seemed to have the advantage, held Dawson off until the last lap when his engine expired giving Dawson the win. Michael Skelton (No. 8) secured the second spot and Ingram ended up with the third spot. Paul Allred (No. 66) and Billy Atkinson (No. 64) left the track earlier in the race due to mechanical problems
