Funeral services for Maurice G. Pearson, 94, of Scottsboro, formerly of Columbiana, were held on Saturday, April 22, 2006 at Bolton-Letlow Chapel with burial following in Columbiana City Cemetery.

Mr. Pearson, who passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2006, at an area hospital, was born on Oct. 9, 1911 in Alabama.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Thelma Pearson and a sister, Henry Lee Atkins.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Pearson; son, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Pearson, Jr.; step-children, Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Ashley, Mr. and Mrs. John Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Nelson, Ms. Lee Ann Cornelison; numerous step-grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Myra Falkner and Hazel Bolton.
