Ruth Snow, 85, was crowned Ms. Columbiana Health and Rehabilitation on May 11. Snow was one of 11 residents of the facility competing for the title.

She received her crown and title from Susannah Higgins, Miss Shelby County 2006.

Snow will join other winners from across the state at the Wynfrey Hotel in Hoover Aug. 8 to compete for the state-wide title of &8220;Ms. Alabama Nursing Home 2006.&8221;

&8220;I&8217;m looking forward to being at the Wynfrey for the state competition,&8221; Snow said.

Also selected for the queen&8217;s court were first runner-up Ruby Carden and second runner-up Inez Wilson. Snow and Wilson shared the title of Ms. Congeniality
