Brenda G. Creel, 58, of Brierfield died Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at her residence.

She was a retired school bus driver for the Shelby County Board of Education.

She is survived by her husband, John &8220;Buck&8221; Creel of Brierfield; children Tina (Marty) Culp, Mandy (Andrew Richards, Glenn Creel, Dale Creel and Jason (Shelly) Jones all of Brierfield; mother, Betty P. Rice of Hernando, Miss.; sisters Connie Epperson and Lynn Sealy both of Jemison; brothers Terry Rice of Hernando, Miss. And Bill Rice of Columbiana; grandchildren Kathy Smitherman, Corey Smitherman, Gabriel Richards, Matthew Richards, Diana Creel, Devin Creel, Cole Fredrick, Colton Jones, Charlie Jones and Alli Jones.

Funeral services were held June 16 at 10 a.m. at Rockco Funeral Home in Montevallo with Reverend Kenneth Dukes and Reverend Duke Fulgham officiating. Burial followed in Ashby Cemetery in Brierfield. Rockco Funeral Home directing
