Graveside service for Lillian Ailene Long, age 89, a lifelong resident of Calera, was at 11 a.m., Monday, June 19, 2006 at Salem Cemetery with Rev. Terry Hill officiating.

Miss Long, who passed away on Friday, June 16, 2006, at a local care facility, was born on June 17, 1916 in Calera, Ala. the daughter of Robert H. and Sallie Mae Coker Long. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her brothers and sister, Sarah R. Smith of Easley, S.C., Buford D. Long of Douglasville, Ga., and H. B. Long of Austin, Tex. And many nieces and nephews.
