Dear editor,

Dear Editor,

People, we all need to swallow our (foolish) pride and coordinate some car pools. Also, let&8217;s learn to make all our trips count, by making lists and doing as much as possible on the same trip.

Young parents, learn to say &8220;No&8221; sometimes to a few of your children&8217;s requests. It is not a disgrace to do these things; it is called being efficient, frugal and aware of the environment. Even if you have plenty of money with which to buy gasoline, don&8217;t allow the oil companies to control you.

Be more organized and, according to what you must do, vow to only fill your car with gasoline once a week, or less if possible. And when you want to buy gasoline, try to buy from the smaller companies.

Yes, we can help this situation if we really want to and save money and time in the interim.
