Annie Hurt Holman Milford died Monday, June 26, 2006 at her home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

She was born July 19, 1913 in Brewton. Annie was a graduate of the University of Alabama and a resident of Montevallo for 52 years. She played an active role in the establishment of the Montevallo city library, was a long time member of the garden club and was also a member of the Montevallo Baptist Church.

Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Milford. She is survived by her son, Guy W. (Sandra Braman) Milford of Milwaukee, Wis., two grandchildren, Elizabeth (Ken) Dieffenbach of Springfield, Va., and Paul G. Milford of Memphis, Ten., her sister, Russ Jones, of Lafayette and several nieces and nephews.

The family plans a memorial celebration of Annie&8217;s life later this year in Montevallo and requests memorial donations to be made to the charity of your choice.
