Betty Battle Peek, age 59, of Columbiana, died July 9, 2006 in Alabaster. A memorial by her family will be held at a later date.

Peek is survived by her sons Sherman (Angel) Peek of Montgomery, Bryan (Vicki) Peek of Eclectic and James (Amanda) Blankenship of Atlanta.

She is also survived by her sister, Lee Alexander of Columbiana, 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
