Funeral service for Dessel Carden, age 89, of Shelby, was at

2 p.m., Friday, July 14, 2006 at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.

Burial followed in Spring Creek Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home. Mrs. Carden, who passed away on Monday, July 10, 2006, at her home, was born on October 23, 1916 in Shelby, AL.

She is preceded in death by her husband.
