Janice Ruth Carson Garner, age 44, of Harriman, Tenn., formerly of Wilton, passed away Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006 at Harriman Health and Rehabilitation.

She was a member of Wilton Baptist Church and a 1979 graduate of Oliver Springs High School and attended Memphis State University. As a child she was an avid athlete and continued to love the outdoors as an adult. She loved being around friends and family and her bubbly personality will be truly and deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard M. and Virginia A. Garner; sister, Glena Davis; brother, Howard Garner, Jr. and grandmother, Ruby Holder.

She is survived by her daughter, Heather Ammer; sisters, Jackie (Allen) Newcomb, Vera Koenig and Barbara (Steve) Stapp and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family received friends from 5-6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with memorial services following her visitation with the Rev. Kenneth Seeber officiating. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton, Tenn. is in charge of all arrangements
