Funeral service for Jack Bragg, age 86, of Calera, was at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006 at Bolton-Letlow Chapel.

Burial followed at Shelby Memory Gardens. Visitation was Saturday from 5-7 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.

Mr. Bragg, who passed away on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006 at a local hospital, was born on April 11, 1920 in Spencerville, OK. Mr. Bragg serviced our country with the US Navy Seabees during WWII. He was retired from Abex in Calera.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma Gentry &8220;Pam&8221; Bragg; children, Timothy E. (Ginny) Bragg, Patsy Bragg (Eddie) Elrod, Freddy C. (Elda) Bragg, Judy Bragg (Kevin) Dietrich; nine grandchildren, Ty, Suzanne, Stephen, Jeremy, Jason, Erin, Jordan, Kara and Joshua; seven great grandchildren, Timothy, Jack, Loren, Kathryn, Blake, Molly and Benton; brother, Clifton &8220;Bill&8221; Edward Bragg and a host of other family and friends.
