Joann Elizabeth Larson, age 63, of Pelham, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006.

She graduated from Shaw High School on January 20, 1961 in East Cleveland, OH and continuing education on April 20, 1962 from the State of Ohio. She was a very hard worker, working with the Hoover School System with the after school care children, and in the morning she worked in Shelby Cleaners and also cleaned houses. She enjoyed dancing with friends, her church and feeding any stray animal. She loved her cat, Mr. Thing.

Memorial Services will be held at Charter Funeral Home on Friday at 10 a.m.

Visitation will follow the services.

Survivors include her son, Danny Curran (Lisa); daughter, Adrianne Curran; granddaughter, Katie Curran and grandson, John Taylor Curran; sister, Phyllis Meister; niece, Bethany Meister; and nephews, Matt and Jason Meister. Also, she is survived by special a friend, Mark May, and close friends, Penny Richards, Willie Deason, Lynder Henry, Mabel Smith, Wayne Jones, Brenda Ross and Dee Hind.
