Mr. William Dwayne Hurn, age 47, of Alabaster passed away at the Shelby Medical Center on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006.

The graveside funeral service was Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. at the Center Star Cemetery, near Florence, with the Rev. Ashley Pettus officiating. The family will speak with friends following the service.

Dwayne is survived by his daughter, Rhyan Elizabeth Hurn of Alabaster; mother, Virginia A. Gautney and husband Paul Florence; step-brothers, Randell, Tim and Russell Gautney, all of Killen.

Pallbearers were Royce Isom, Don Faust, Tim Gautney, Seth Gautney, Randell Gautney Caleb Gautbey and Nicholas Gautney.

Elkins East Chapel Funeral Home directed.
