Funeral service for Jeanette Gurganus, age 75, of Calera, was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006 at Bolton-Letlow Chapel with Rev. Joe Sizemore and Rev. Shelton Reeves officiating.

Burial followed at Shelby Memory Gardens. Visitation was Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gurganus, who passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006 at a local hospital, was born on Feb. 21, 1931 in Fayette County. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Gurganus.

She is survived by her children, Terry (Tammy) Gurganus, Donna (David) Kemp of Calera; grandchildren, Tanya, Taffy, Tiffany, Jamie and Keri; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Maureen Oswalt, Annette Norris of Northport and a brother, Granville Kuykendall of Northport.
