Funeral service for Annie Abbott, age 81, of Harpersville, formerly of Childersburg, was at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006 at Providence Baptist Church with Rev. William Rayfield and Rev. Zane Smith officiating. She lay in state from 12-1 p.m. at the church. Burial followed at Harpersville City Cemetery. Visitation was Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Abbott, who passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006 at a local hospital, was born on February 12, 1925 in Marvel. Mrs. Abbott was a member of Providence Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Walter Seaborn Lambert and Olin Abbott.

She is survived by her sons, Roy (Lisa) Lambert, Rickie (Lisa) Lambert; step-daughters, Bernice Waldrop, Dot (William) Rayfield, Jewell (Jimmy) Waldrop; grandchildren, Sandy Wells, Jason Lambert, Cheryl Franklin, Beverly Lambert, Lindsey Wood; nine step grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and other family and friends.
