The Student Government Association of the University of Montevallo recognized a number of outstanding Shelby County students at the 73rd annual Elite Night ceremony held recently in LeBaron Recital Hall on the UM campus.
The event honors seniors in each major or superior academic achievement. The awards are presented by the deans of each of UM&8217;s four colleges.
Also given each year is a dedication. This year&8217;s Elite Night dedication went to Marion B. Brown, coordinator of the central calendar office and manager of UM&8217;s Palmer Hall Auditorium.
