Funeral service for Jimmy Horton, age 55, of Clanton, was held at

3 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Mountain Springs Methodist Church with Rev. Don Vanderslice officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.

Mr. Horton, passed away on Monday, Nov. 27, at a local hospital, he was born Jan. 17, 1951 in Bessemer.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Horton; daughter, Rachel (Brian) Hadder; his Pa-Paw, Marvin Horton; brothers, Marvin Horton, Jerry Horton; sisters, Helen Smith, Gene Lowry, Shirley Oliver, Hilda Steele; four special sisters-in-law, Sharlene (Roger) Hand, Gail (David) Coleman, Dale (Randy) Rowe, Brenda (Kenneth) Moore; brother-in-law, Larry (Melba) Connell and a host of family and friends.
