Mildred (Pickett) Pesseackey, &8220;Soupie&8221; passed away Saturday, Dec. 2 in Sylacauga. She was 83.

Mrs. Pesseackey is survived by her two sons, Richard (Charlotte) Pesseackey of Alpine and Mike (Phyllis) Pesseackey of Moody; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Bice and Patricia McClain, both of Birmingham; one brother, Earl Pickett of Concord, North Carolina.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham with burial in Macedonia Cemetery in Pea Ridge.

Visitation was Sunday, Dec. 3 from 3-5 p.m. at the Southern Heritage Funeral
