Ruth Davis Terrell, age 88, of Montevallo, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2006 at her home. Mrs. Terrell ran a playschool and was a nursery coordinator for First Baptist Church in Jackson. She was a member of The Woman&8217;s Club and she was a member of Jackson Baptist Church for 35 years.

Surviving are her daughter, Peggy T. (Tommy) Walls of Montevallo; sons, George E. (Patricia) Terrell, Jr. of Atlanta, Robert L. (Faith) Terrell of Lukay, Va., and Don E. (Sandra) Terrell of Jackson; sister, Margaret D. Eddings of Montevallo; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Sunday, Dec. 17 one hour prior to the service at 2:30 p.m. Dr. H.L. Martin presided. The funeral was held at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel in Montevallo, and burial was a Montevallo Cemetery.
