Allen Edward Wilson, age 74 of Pelham, passed away on Dec. 26, in Pelham. Mr. Wilson was a life long resident of Shelby Co. he was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; L.P. and Mayo Wilson, brother, Stanley Wilson, and grandson, Adam Brogden. He is survived by three sons, Steve Wilson, Rex Wilson and Scott Wilson, one daughter, Penny Newton, brother, Norman (Nina) Wilson, two sisters, Margaret Allen and Betty Kirkland, four grandchildren, Steve Wilson, Amy Wilson, Chad Brogden, Justin Wilson; and former wife and care giver, Cookie Wilson. Visitation was held Thursday, Dec. 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. The funeral service was held Friday, Dec. 29 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Southern Heritage Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Pelham City Cemetery
