Warriors remain unbeaten in area

-Thompson 74, Hueytown 44: The Warriors improved to 14-4 on the

season behind the hot 3-point shooting of Gary Cunningham, who hit 3-point baskets on the way to scoring 23 points. Jordan Chism also contributed 16 points for Thompson to improve to 3-0 in Class 6A Area 10. Laderreous Kelley also was a contributor for the Warriors with 10 points of his own.

-Shelby County 64, Sylacauga 57: Tyrone Buie led the Wildcats (10-9) with 19 points in this encounter while Dexter Carden had 15 and Josh Dikis has 13.

-Kingwood Christian 64, Lakeside 54: Owens led the 10-4 Lions to the overtime win with 35 points and 12 rebounds. Nathan Allen scored 15.

-Coosa Valley Academy 61, Cornerstone Christian 39: Kevin Corbitt scored 11 pionts, had 17 boards, and 10 blocked shots to triple-double his way and the Rebels (12-3) to victory. J. B. Ripley led the Rebels with 19 points while Cody Browning chipped in 16.

-Briarwood Christian 49, Chelsea 39: Thames led the 15-7 Lions with 16 points while Wesley Lynch chipped in 12. Davin Palmer scored 13 for the Hornets.
