Murriel Ellene &8220;Ted&8221; Kitchens, 79, of Pleasant Grove, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 20. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Jennie Mae Kish; husband of 61 years, Brady H. Kitchens; daughter, A. Darlyne K.C. Brand; sister, Mildred Smith. She is survived by son-in-law, David Brand; daughter, Kay (James) Lawley, Mona (David) Lamb, Nanette (Tim) Tingle; son, Timmy (Joyce) Kitchens; grandchildren, Tracy (Donn) Gilmore, Jim (Cindy) Lawley, Tonya (Gary) Reel, Steva Olcott, Stephen (Amanda) Brand, Gina Brand, Aimee Casey, Grace (Jim) Mitchell, Andrew (Cathy) Tingle, Joseph (Dreama) Tingle, Chris Tingle, Kevin Tingle, Angus Lamb, Jon Lawley, Ian Lamb; great-grandchildren, Josh Gilmore, Anthony Gilmore, Jacob Lawley, Syndale Brand, Jordan Lawley, Zeke Mitchell, Seth Brand, Ashtin Reel, Honey Mitchell; sisters, Vera Linholm of Siluria, Billie (Cook) Harrell of McCalla. Her husband and children were the joy of her life and proudest accomplishment. She loved to travel with family and her Sunday school class. She loved to go fishing and watch baseball. She will be so missed. Services were held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 2 p.m. Burial was in Valhalla Cemetery, Midfield. Reverend Tommy Chesser officiated. Visitation was held Tuesday, Jan. 23 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home
