The Hannah 3000 continued to perform like a well-oiled scoring machine Monday night, as Kingwood Christian&8217;s Hannah Phillips scored 23 points against Marion Military Institute to give her 2,995 career points, just shy of 3,000.

Phillips was expected to cross the milestone&8217;s barrier early in last night&8217;s game at Meadowview Christian in Selma.

Phillips&8217;s 23 on Monday gives her 76 points in the last four games for the Lions.

Kaitlin Rozoff posted six 3-point shots on her way to 19 points for the Lions in Monday&8217;s win. Serina Bourassa added 19 last Tuesday to accompany Phillips&8217; 17 in the Lions&8217; 68-37 win over Chambers Academy.

In other games:

Thompson warpath continues: The Lady Warriors improved to 22-4 with a 57-51 win over Spain Park Saturday. Rhonda Watts scored 19 points and pulled down six boards while Zoriah William scored 13 points. Chasity Herron added 11 points, seven rebounds and five blocks. Watts also had 18 points in last Tuesday&8217;s 71-50 win over Hueytown. Williams added 12, while Renita Lewis had 11. Watts also had 12 points, while Williams and Herron added 11 in a 49-45 win over Pleasant Valley.

Jags split final area games: Laura Kneiss poured in 14 points and grabbed nine boards for the Jags, while Meghan Dunn and Stefie Dominguez chipped in 11 apiece in Saturday&8217;s loss to Thompson. The previous night, Dominguez paced the Jags (13-13) with nine points in a 33-32 loss to Vestavia Hills, after defeating Oak Mountain 33-22 earlier in the year. Dominguez and Kneiss each had 12 points.

Oak Mountain drops final area games: Lauren Miller led the way with seven points in the Eagles&8217; loss to Spain Park and added 13 earlier in the week in a 58-31 loss to Hoover.

Pelham wraps up area play with wins: The Panthers improved to 19-5, 4-2 in 6A, Area 10 action behind Whitney Hudson&8217;s 15 points and six rebounds in a 58-43 victory over Jackson-Olin. Lindsey Young added 12 points, while Whitney Billings contributed 10 points. Earlier in the week, Hudson led the way with 16 points, as Pelham defeated Hueytown 75-32. Billings added 14 points, while Melanie Short had 11.

Wildcats perfect through area play: The Shelby County Wildcat (11-12. 6-0) closed out Class 5A, Area 6 play with a 62-40 win over Chilton County Friday. Leah Bland and Kayla Williams each posted 17 points to lead the way, while both had double-doubles with Bland collecting 14 rebounds and Williams 11. Jessica Pennington had 16 points. Earlier in the week, the Wildcats dropped a 50-40 decision to Calera. Williams had 15 points and 17 rebounds for the Wildcats, while Keyunna Davis had 19 points and 18 rebounds for Calera. The Eagles&8217; Jalisa Thomas led all scorers with 20 points.

Chelsea wins two: The Chelsea Hornets posted victories over Fayetteville, 51-43, and Vincent, 50-43 on the week. Sydney Arnold paced the Hornets (7-8) with 19 points against Vincent, while Morgan Arnold had 15 in the win over Fayetteville.

Montevallo&8217;s bite unbearable: Jordan Archer led the Bulldogs with 13 points Thursday to lead her 15-1 team to a 53-38 victory at Jemison. Archer and Candice Fields teamed up for 14 points each in last Tuesday&8217;s 53-25 win over Bibb County. Archer also had five assists.

Vincent splits a pair: Niesha Dates and Adrienne Datcher led Vincent with 16 and 14 points respectively in last week&8217;s loss to Chelsea, but Shanda Dates led the Yellow Jackets with 15 points in a 30-27 win over Winterboro.

Coosa Valley falls short of area title: The Lady Rebels fell to 18-3 in a 39-35 loss to Warrior Academy in overtime Friday, despite 27 points and 10 rebounds from Kimberli Rutledge. Rutledge and Tyger Paris each had 23 points earlier in the week to lead the Rebels past Evangel Christian (Montgomery) 51-33.

Shelby Academy sweeps pair: Kimbrell Lee led the Raiders with 14 points and six rebounds in Shelby Academy&8217;s 38-24 win over Central Christian. Lee had 12 points, behind Taylor Miller&8217;s 16, in a 40-15 win over Cornerstone Christian

Briarwood splits area matches: Briarwood Christian (10-16,3-3) fell 57-31 at Ramsey Friday to wrap up Class 5A, Area 8 play, after defeating John Carroll 37-25 last Tuesday. Ruth Ketchum led the Lady Lions with 17 points, while Lauren Parks chipped in eight.
