Ola Mae Richey

Ola Mae Richey, 89, of Albertville, died Thursday Jan. 25 in Albertville. Funeral service was held Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church. She was buried in Bethel Cemetery in Bradford. She is survived by daughter, Rebecca Killebrew; son, Ronald (Rachel) Richey of Columbiana; sisters Alice McCombs of Warrior, Corine Ried of Fultondale and Annie Merle Gibbons of Birmingham; brothers, Chester Doss of Pinson and Horace Doss of Birmingham; six grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Columbiana. She served in the North AL. Conference for the church since 1937 as well as serving at local, district and conference levels. She was member of council on ministries, administrative board and building committee, district director of missions, director of education, member council of ministries Sylagauga conference, board of global ministries, committee on memoirs, executive committee of U.M. women, registrar, mission coordinator and historian. The family did except flowers or any memorials can be made to the Bethel Cemetery Fund in Bradford.
