A 25-year-old Sylacauga man died Thursday morning after a single-car accident on Alabama 25.

Aaron David Ludwig died about two hours after his sport utility vehicle left the road and hit an embankment, said Alabama State Trooper Sgt. Tim Sartain.

The accident occurred around 7:45 in the morning about a quarter-mile north of Wilsonville.

Ludwig, who was transported to an area hospital, was not wearing a seat belt, according to Sartian.
