James Earl Traywick, 56, of Thorsby, died Monday, Feb. 18 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center. He was born Saturday, March 4, 1950 in Montgomery. He was the son of the late James Willie Traywick and the late Edith Inez Estes Traywick.

He was a retail clerk. He is survived by his wife of 10 yers, Anne Cofer Traywick; daughter Kelly (Larry) Meeks; sister Cathy (James) Griffith; two grandchildren, Cortney Reliford and Colin Meeks; sister-in-law, Phoebe Pate of Jemison and several nieces and nephews.

Friends were received Thursday, Feb. 22 from 6-8 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. The funeral service was held Friday, Feb. 23 at the Lighthouse Church at 2 p.m. The Rev. Travis Bussey and the Rev.
