Jaunita Dodd Williamson, 80, of Birmingham, died Friday, March 9.

The funeral service was Monady, March 12 at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Dr. Dan Ireland presided. Visitation was Sunday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

She is preceded in death by her husband Olen Floyd Williamson and sister, Jo Dodd Dorsett. She is survived by her daughters, Jo Ann (George) Holcombe and Kay Jones; son, Olen (Carol) Williamson, Jr.; grandchildren, Joel (Ashley), Drew and Katie Williamson, Tripp Holcombe, Kurt and Austin Jones; great-grandchild, Avery Williamson; brother-in-law, Toxey Dorsett; sister-in-law, Nora Williamson; cousins, Doris Bean, Linda Biddie and Carol Nix; nieces and nephews, Jim (Sherrie) Dorsett, Jan (Leland) Bailey, John (Shari) Dorsett, Sandra Cates, Sue Evans, Norma Williamson, Ann Smith, Larry Moore, Claudia Thompson, Tom Brown and Bud Brown. Williamson graduated from Ensley High School. She was employed at the dental office of Dr. Toxey Dorsett and was a member of Pike Avenue Baptist Church for most of her life. Ridout&8217;s Elmwood Chapel directed.
