Lessie Mae Gentry, 70, of Calera, died Friday, March 16 in Alabaster. The funeral service was held Monday, March 19 at 2 p.m. at Rocko Funeral Home Chapel in Montevallo. Visitation was held Sunday, March 18 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. She was buried at Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera. The Rev. Nolin Maudlin presided. She was preceded in death by her husband Willis Gene Gentry. She is survived by her daughters, Teresa (Larry) Hall and Gloria (Jerry) Jones; sisters, Sandra (Bill) Boyd of Clanton and Linda (Jim) Brackin of Thorsby; brother, R.C. Crumpton of GA.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
