Carl Ronald Daniel Jr., 42, of Jemison, died Thursday, March 22, 2007 at home. The funeral service was held Saturday, March 24 at 2 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Randolph. He was buried at Shady Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Kirk Smith presided.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl R. Daniel Sr. and grandparents, John T. Daniel and Harold and Marjorie Smitherman. He is survived by his wife, Carol Daniel; daughter, Kayla Daniel; son, Justin Daniel; mother, Barbara (Billy) Morgan; sister, Michelle (Chris) Blankenship of Shelby; grandmother, Elvie Daniel of Randolph; niece, Leah Blankenship and nephew, Cody Blankenship. Rocko Funeral Home directed.
