Mary Ellis, 88, of Columbiana, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2007. The funeral service was held Tuesday, April 17 at 11 a.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel. The Rev. Mary Seale presided. Ellis was buried at Elmwood Cemetery.

Visitation was held Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Ellis was born on October 19, 1918 in Birmingham.

She was a member and pianist at Mt. Era Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Ellis; daughter, Mary Gene Garrett and two brothers, Eugene and William Bozeman.

She is survived by her son, Bruce (Susie) Russell; grandchildren,

Patrick (Rhonda) Garrett, Wendy (Bo) Powers, Dana Russell, Stephanie (Jason) Peck; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack (Ann) Bozeman, Howard (Tomia) Bozeman; sisters, Mildred Baldwin, Sara Prestridge, Flora Mae Foster and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
