Dennis J. Horton, 44, of Columbiana passed away Friday, April 27, 2007.

The funeral service was held Monday, April 30 at 1 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel. Bro. Wayne Horton presided. He was buried at Summer Hill Cemetery.

Visitation was held Sunday, April 29 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was born Oct. 3, 1962 in Shelby County. Horton worked at Elastic Corp. of America since 1980. He was the department manager of covered rubber. Horton accepted Christ a year ago, but health problems prevented him from church membership. He was an active member of his community.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Allie Faye and Billy Joe Horton. He is survived by his wife, Laura Pool Horton; daughter, Holly (Michael) Horton Connell; son, Preston Jerome Horton (fianc/, Nicole Portera); daughter, Alisha Danielle Horton; granddaughter, Reagan McKenzie Connell; brothers, Billy Joe Horton, Jr., Frankie Horton and Michael Horton; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wayne and Jean Gould
