The Rev. Nancy Martin Copin, 60, a former resident of Birmingham, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2007 in Snow Creek, Va.

Copin was one of the first employees of Charter Cremation Society. She was a dedicated and enthusiastic professional. She attended Beason Divinity School at Samford University.

Copin had been at Snow Creek Christian Church about 20 months prior to her tragic death. The loss of her friendship and humor has left a hole in our world. She will remain in our hearts and minds forever.

A memorial service to celebrate her life was held Saturday, April 28 at 2 p.m. at Charter Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. Fisher Humphreys presided. Following the service, a reception was held from 4-6 p.m. at Daneworks, 2831 Pelham Parkway.
