Ruth E. Taylor, 88 of Birmingham passed away

Sunday, April 29, 2007.

The funeral service was held Tuesday, May 1 at 11 a.m. at the Old Chapel Methodist Church. The Rev. Jerry Baker presided. She was buried at the Old Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation was held Monday, April 30 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was born Feb. 25, 1919 in Wilsonville. Ruth was married to Henry Taylor for 44 years before he passed away.

Ruth was an exceptional person. She loved and helped everyone she could.

Taylor passed

with family of four generations at her side. She is survived by her daughter, Frances B. Wilkes; grandson, Jeff Wilkes; great -grandchildren, Melanie Tillery, Blake Tillery; brother, Cecil Epperson and a host of family and friends.
