School presents murder mystery

The words &8220;delicious&8221; and &8220;murder&8221; generally are not used in the same sentence, but on Monday, June 4 at 6:30 p.m. their pairing will make perfect sense.

Theatre III students from Shelby County High School will team up with Bernie&8217;s on Main, a Columbiana restaurant, to present the murder mystery dinner theater presentation Caf/ Murder.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will support the Shelby County High School theater department.

The play is directed by Shelby County High School theater teacher Kathryn Myrick, and musical entertainment is under the direction of choral teacher Deborah Petipas, who teaches at both Columbiana Middle School and Shelby County High School.

Tickets are $20 per person and include appetizer, meat, two vegetables (or chef salad), dessert, the murder mystery performance and musical entertainment by members of the SCHS choral department.

Tickets are limited and can be purchased from the Shelby County High School front office or at Bernie&8217;s on Main.

Students presenting the show are Brad Lee, Evan Owens, Aaron Moore, Haley Brasher, Meagan Seale, Blair Granger, Ashley Motes, Haley Allred, Kimberly Agee and Kirsten Shaw.
