Lorene Pernie Crumpton, 85, of Randolph passed away May 29, 2007 at her home.

The funeral service was held Friday, June 1, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Randolph Baptist Church. Burial followed at Randolph Cemetery. Visitation was held May 31 from 6-8 p.m. at Rockco&8217;s Funeral Home. The Rev. William Kee presided.

Mrs. Bates is survived by daughters, Gloria Holsomback (Ralph) and Tina Marie Crumpton; a son, Donnie Crumpton; a sister, Delene Cochran; brothers, Alvin Stewart (Gervus) and Hugh Stewart (Peggy); and grandchildren Carey LeShea Crumpton, Todd Edward Holsomback and Eric Lee
