Funeral services for Wayne Piper, age 53, of Birmingham, were held at 1 p.m., Sunday, June 17, 2007, at Bolton-Letlow Chapel. Burial followed in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Piper, who passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at his home, was born on Jan. 14, 1954 in Tallassee.

He is survived by his children, Jared Piper and Erin Piper; mother, Martha Jo Motherwell; sister, Lynn Culpepper; and a host of family and friends
