Carl Edward Duck, age 83, of Plantersville passed away June 19, 2007 in a Selma hospital.

Graveside services were Friday, June 22, 2007 at 2 p.m. in Vincent Cemetery in Vincent with the Rev. Roscoe Kornegy officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.

Visitation was Thursday, June 21, 2007, 6-8 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Clara Parsons Duck; son, Louie Carl Duck; daughter, Debbie Duck (Dale) Gray; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Duck was preceded in death by his brothers, George Washington Duck, Emory King Duck, James Lewis Duck; half-brother, Dick Harris; daughter, Marilyn Olean Duck; sisters, Pearlie Mae Duck, and Irene Duck and half-sister, Maybelle Harris.
